At WeWork, I worked as a Product Designer, collaborating with a broad team of designers, copywriters, developers, and stakeholders. I worked on the website team, making updates to their homepage for new campaigns for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I also got to refine their Figma Design System with the goal of creating a refined library that unfired their seven digital platforms.
After a change in their organizational structure, I moved to their Marketing Design Team. I lead creative concepts for their Black Friday sale advertisements during this time. I wanted to combine some of the digital languages into the marketing side, so I led my own passion project of redesigning their email templates to improve customer engagement.
The objective was to translate all marketing email templates into a cohesive Figma system that can be easily changed and reproduced.
Encouraging more consumer clicks to the website
Improving hierarchy to be easily skimmed
Creating consistency across templates that align with the brand standards
Adding contrasting points of interest, like highlight colors, icons, and background changes
Developing a Figma design System of components to streamline the marketing email process
The concept was pitched by me, and I overviewed the art direction through to execution with my manager, Yoko Kristiansen, with rendering by Valmik Vyas
WeWork was changing its membership plans from All Access to All Access Basic and Plus. I created icons to show the differences and benefits between the two.
The WeWork homepage needed to mention the most popular offices for SEO. I created the final layout options and pitched them to stakeholders.
I participated in team critiques, getting feedback from other designers. I also worked on the design system team that focused on refining and perfecting their Figma library.
